The objective of the MCSA/MCSE Test Prep Program is to prepare students with the skills necessary to implement a core Windows Server 2012 infrastructure in an existing enterprise environment. It also includes implementing, managing, maintaining, and provisioning services and infrastructure in a Windows Server 2012 environment. Upon successful program completion, graduates will possess the education and skills necessary to obtain an entry-level information technology administration position in a medium to large sized organization.
The core training for this program is defined by the competencies emphasized in attaining the (MCSA) Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate and the (MCSE) Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certifications. This certification ensures that the holder possesses competencies in administering Windows Server 2012, and administration tasks necessary to maintain a Windows Server 2012 infrastructure such as Implementing Server Images, User and Group management with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Group Policy, Remote Access and Network Policies, Data Security, Monitoring and Update Management. This program also provides you with the skills and knowledge needed to plan, design, and deploy a physical and logical Windows Server 2012 Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) infrastructure. The program also provides the skills to perform name resolution, application integration, and optimization of automate remediation and maintenance of network services. In this course, students will learn how to plan and implement some of the more advanced features available in Windows Server 2012.
In order to achieve MCSA/MCSE Certification, all students must sit for and pass the following exams:
- Exam 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012
- Exam 70-411: Administering Windows Server 2012
- Exam 70-412: Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services
- Exam 70-413: Designing and Implementing a Server Infrastructure
- Exam 70-414: Implementing an Advanced Server Infrastructure
