Microsoft SharePoint, combined with the Microsoft 365 suite, enables organizations to build and maintain a corporate intranet, share content, and centralize document and data management. This course is designed for users who are already comfortable building and managing SharePoint sites and want to tackle more advanced tasks. Topics include custom site templates, managed metadata, advanced permissions, security hardening, and features that support governance and compliance. The course covers both advanced site-building techniques and site administration responsibilities carried out in coordination with a SharePoint Administrator.
Target Audience
- Users who already have hands-on experience building Modern SharePoint sites and adding content to them, and who want to go deeper into SharePoint’s advanced features—including improving findability, strengthening security, and applying governance and compliance controls.
Prerequisites
- Basic SharePoint site user skills, including the ability to navigate a SharePoint site and view or enter data in lists and libraries.
- Intermediate site-building experience, including creating SharePoint sites, applying site templates, adding pages, creating lists and libraries, and connecting a site to a hub site.
