Animate Fundamentals introduces Adobe Animate so you can create interactive and media-rich applications. Over two hands-on days you’ll learn the timeline, frame-by-frame and tweened animation, working with symbols, adding audio, and publishing for the web.

Course Outline
Module 1: Getting Started
Tour the Animate interface, set up a new document, and understand FPS and stage.
Module 2: Drawing and Importing Art
Use the drawing tools and import artwork from Illustrator and Photoshop.
Module 3: Timeline and Frames
Work with keyframes, layers, and the timeline to control animation.
Module 4: Symbols and the Library
Create graphic, button, and movie clip symbols and reuse them.
Module 5: Tweened Animation
Use motion tweens, classic tweens, and shape tweens to create smooth animation.
Module 6: Audio and Interactivity
Add sound to the timeline and create basic interactive buttons.
Module 7: Publishing
Publish to HTML5 Canvas and other targets for web and mobile.
