It combines the content of Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions Parts 1 and 2, addressing cloud-based infrastructure, network security protocols, scalable architecture design, and troubleshooting techniques. Students learn to implement, secure, and manage Meraki-based networks through a centralized dashboard. Completing this course prepares you for the Cisco Meraki Solutions Specialist (ECMS 500-220) exam and earns 24 Continuing Education (CE) credits toward recertification.

Prerequisites
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent knowledge
- General networking knowledge
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, configuring, scaling, and managing enterprise networks, IPsec, and related VPN technologies
- Experience with hierarchical network segmentation design and best practices across access, distribution, and core layers
- Solid understanding of IP addressing and subnetting as applied to LAN design
- Basic knowledge of network authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services
- Solid understanding of dynamic routing protocols, with emphasis on OSPF and BGP
- Basic understanding of wired and wireless QoS mechanisms, packet queuing operations, and practical applications
- Basic understanding of threat modeling concepts and the ability to use them to identify, analyze, and address cybersecurity threats
- Basic understanding of network security controls and protocols, network management best practices, data security, and intermediate knowledge of RF concepts, terminology, design principles, and current 802.11 wireless standards
- Basic understanding of wireless security practices focused on access control via 802.1x and spectrum security through WIDS and WIPS
- Basic understanding of standard logging and monitoring protocols, including SNMP, syslog, and webhooks, along with related implementation tools
- Basic familiarity with APIs and associated languages and formats such as REST and JSON
