Module 2: Business Considerations for Cloud Environments
Examines cloud adoption strategies, approaches to vendor selection, and methods for evaluating cloud services. Covers financial factors and ROI analysis to support sound business decisions around cloud spending.
Module 3: Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Security
Reviews cloud security responsibilities and the shared responsibility model, relevant regulations including GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS, and approaches to risk assessment, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.
Module 4: Cloud Platforms and Services
Surveys major cloud platforms — AWS, Azure, and GCP — and covers monitoring, automation, and orchestration concepts. Also addresses SLAs, performance metrics, and reporting practices.
Module 5: Planning and Executing Cloud Adoption
Covers the phases of cloud migration planning, organizational change management considerations, and vendor management and communication strategies needed to support a successful cloud transition.
