This course is the first step toward earning the ITIL Managing Professional designation. It covers how to integrate value streams and activities to create, deliver, and support IT-enabled products and services. Students will develop the knowledge and skills needed to manage IT-enabled services, teams, and workflows effectively. An exam voucher is included with this course.

Course Outline
Module 1: Planning and Building a Service Value Stream

This module covers key concepts and challenges within the Service Value System (SVS), including applying a ‘shift left’ approach and recognizing the role of information and technology throughout the SVS.

Module 2: Contributing to Creation, Delivery, and Support

This module examines how to use the value stream to design, develop, and transition new services, how ITIL practices enhance value streams, how to deliver user support, and how ITIL practices extend value streams for support functions.

Module 3: Creating, Delivering, and Supporting Services

This module focuses on coordinating, prioritizing, and organizing activities, and looks at the implications of buy versus build decisions, sourcing strategies, and service integration and management.
