This three-day course is a follow up to 10961B: Automating Administration with Windows PowerShell course. It is built on Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1 and while it is focused on Windows PowerShell v4.0, it also holds relevance in v2.0 and v3.0 Windows PowerShell environments.

Expand, build, and add to your knowledge gained while taking course 10961B. Focusing on building more scalable and usable Windows PowerShell scripts for use in your organization by building your own Windows PowerShell tools. You will learn about areas such as: creating advanced functions, script modules, advanced parameter attributes, and controller scripts. You will also learn how to handle script errors by analyzing and debugging Windows PowerShell scripts. This will give you the ability to make your scripts more robust. This course also covers the use of Windows PowerShell cmdlets with .NET Framework, teaches how to configure your Windows Servers using Desired State Configuration. It also provides an understanding of the Windows PowerShell Workflow.

This course is for IT professionals who are experienced in general Windows Server and Windows Client administration and/or Experienced in administering and supporting Application servers and services. This will include applications such as:

Prerequisites

Experience in general Windows Server and Windows Client Administration
Experience in Administering and supporting Application servers and services (such as Exchange, SharePoint, and SQL)
