Course Outline
Module 1: Advanced Formulas and Functions
Participants learn to apply conditional logic and more advanced formula techniques to address complex business problems. Coverage includes nested functions, array formulas, and using Excel’s broader function library to automate calculations and reduce manual effort.
Module 2: Creating Dynamic Dashboards
This module addresses how to design and build interactive dashboards that display data visually and refresh automatically. Participants work with charts, slicers, and named ranges to produce clear, easy-to-navigate data presentations.
Module 3: Task Automation with Macros
Participants are introduced to recording and editing macros to automate repetitive or complex processes. Topics include the macro environment, running and adjusting recorded macros, and identifying situations where automation provides practical value.
Module 4: Data Analysis and Forecasting
This module covers Excel’s built-in analytical tools, including What-If Analysis, Goal Seek, Scenario Manager, and Forecast Sheets. Participants learn to model business scenarios and estimate future outcomes based on historical data.
Module 5: PivotTables and PivotCharts
Participants build on existing PivotTable knowledge by creating calculated fields, grouping data, applying filters, and connecting PivotCharts. The focus is on using PivotTables as a flexible tool for summarizing and exploring large datasets.
Module 6: Power Query and Power Pivot
This module covers Power Query for importing, transforming, and cleaning data from multiple sources, alongside Power Pivot for building data models and defining relationships between tables. Participants learn to manage and analyze datasets that go beyond standard Excel constraints.
