Course Outline
Module 1: Advanced Functions

Participants examine Excel functions that go beyond basic arithmetic, covering logical, lookup, text, and date functions. The module focuses on identifying the appropriate function for specific analytical needs and combining functions through nesting to address more complex scenarios.

Module 2: Working with Lists

This module covers structuring data in list format and applying sorting, filtering, and data validation techniques to control data entry. Participants learn to use Excel’s built-in list tools to manage and analyze large datasets effectively.

Module 3: Analyzing Data

Participants work with Excel’s data analysis features, including What-If Analysis tools such as Goal Seek and Scenario Manager, to assess different outcomes and support data-driven conclusions.

Module 4: Visualizing Data with Charts

This module covers how to create, format, and modify various chart types in Excel. Participants learn to select the right chart for their data and customize chart elements for use in reports and presentations.

Module 5: PivotTables and PivotCharts

Participants build PivotTables to dynamically summarize, group, and explore large datasets. The module also covers generating PivotCharts to display PivotTable results visually and using slicers to enable interactive data filtering.

Module 6: Working Across Multiple Worksheets and Workbooks

This module addresses methods for linking data across worksheets and workbooks, consolidating information from multiple sources, and managing workbook properties to support reporting and team collaboration.
