Course Outline
Module 1: Introduction to the Excel Environment

Familiarizing yourself with the Excel interface, navigating the ribbon, understanding the relationship between workbooks and worksheets, and orienting new users to the application.

Module 2: Building and Formatting Worksheets

Creating new worksheets, entering and editing data, applying formatting to cells including fonts, colors, borders, and number formats, and resizing rows and columns.

Module 3: Writing Formulas and Using Functions

Constructing basic formulas, working with common functions including SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, and MAX, distinguishing between relative and absolute cell references, and executing basic calculations.

Module 4: Structuring Data with Tables

Converting data ranges into tables, sorting and filtering table data, applying table styles, and using structured references to work with table data.

Module 5: Creating Charts and Graphs

Inserting and editing basic charts and graphs, choosing suitable chart types for different data, formatting individual chart elements, and placing charts within worksheets.

Module 6: Managing Workbooks and Using Templates

Working with multiple worksheets inside a workbook, creating and applying Excel templates to reduce repetitive work, configuring page layout and print settings, and saving workbooks in different file formats.
